Standards are meant to maintain a high level of quality in the community. Homeowners agree to this when purchasing their home and acceptance of the bylaws. Compliance is mandatory and enforced by both our bylaws and the City of Miramar.
Remember, standards help to insure a safe, comfortable, clean, and enjoyable living environment. It will also help to increase the sale value of your home... your investment!

Yard Maintenance
Proper yard maintenance is required by all home owners within the Association. Keeping your yard well maintained enhances the subdivision and provides value to all.
Parking on grass areas is prohibited. It kills the grass and violation is enforceable via our bylawas and City of Miramar Code Compliance.
Poor maintenance can cause citations by City of Miramar Code Compliance or other distress to the home owner through actions specified in the Bylaws.

General maintenance
Proper home maintenance is required by all home owners within the Association. All owners shall maintain their home and lot in an attractive and neat condition. Outside home maintenance, paint, fence, decorative curbing, driveways, lawn, trees, and more are covered by Association rules.

Note: Bulk trash cannot be left in any vacant lot for any reason. Bulk trash will be picked up in front of your home for free on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
No construction equipment or supplies can be left in the front of your home visible from the street for extended periods of time unless specifically approved by the Association.

HOMEOWNERS MUST GET COLORS CHOSEN FOR THEIR HOMES APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CINNAMON HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION.
Cinnamon Homes requires all homes be painted in "brown earth tone" colors. The color must be approved in writing by a board member of the executive committee.
Any public facing structure being painted must be approved and of a shade of brown earth tone.
Exterior painting is covered in part in ARTICLE VII - SECTION 23.
Please submit your color requests to CHA@CINNAMONHOMES.com or provide color chips to an executive board member. Be sure to include both siding and trim colors if changing.
We do not require you to use a specific brand.

Children and Pets
Please be cautious when driving in Cinnamon Homes. There can be children at play at any time. Reminder that the speed limit is 5 miles per hour at all times.
Parents: Be responsible with your children. Playing on the streets is dangerous and not recommended. Parents are responsible for the actions of your children. The association is not responsible if your children are hurt playing in the streets.
Pets are wonderful members of your family. Be responsible.

- DO NOT allow your children to throw objects that can cause damage.
- DO NOT allow your children to loiter in the center circles.
- DO NOT allow your children to walk across or play on other residents lawns or driveways.
- DO TELL your children to pick up after themselves. Toys & trash left in the circles will be picked up and put into the trash.
Pets are wonderful members of your family. Be responsible.

- Do pick up after them after they "do their duty".
- Do have control of your pets when walking them.
- DO have your dog on a leash at all times.
Parking
All automobiles within the Association must be properly licensed, be in good operating condition, and belong to the homeowner or a member of their family.

Vehicles found in violation or suspected of violation will be reported to the Association, Miramar PD, and Code Compliance for action.
Vehicles in violation may be towed at owners expense.

- There are no "reserved" parking in the circles.
- No commercial vehicles can be kept on the premises.
- No trailers or boats are allowed in driveways or circle.
- No parking on the grass.
- No parking on the pavers in the center of the circles.
- Do not block other residents driveways.
- No parking in the public right of way in the circles themselves.

Noise
Loud noise and barking dogs can be very offensive. Some people may work odd hours and need to sleep. Excessive noise is violation of the bylaws and in some cases Miramar city regulations.
If a homeowner is experiencing excessive noise from a neighbor they should first contact the Police non emergency number.
