History, Culture & Facts

Cinnamon Homes was officially registered in Broward county on January 30, 1979 by the developer. The last 30 years has seen many changes both to the community and the economy. The economic turndown over the last several years has hurt us through foreclosures and non-payment of annual assessments.

Per our original documents, the association had to go through with a revitalization of the HOA Covenants and Bylaws which required a majority vote of the homeowners and then a full review and approval by the State of Florida.  This effort was completed year (2016) and approved in November 2016.

Did you know that our HOA is Non Profit? Only residents can be on the board and all are encouraged to participate in how their community is managed.  Board members are voluntary and take no salary to carry out their responsibilities assigned to them by the association.

The Annual assessments go to legal, insurance and maintenance only.

The board is bound by the bylaws of the association and the Condo & HOA laws of the State of Florida, and are bound to uphold those rules for the benefit of all home owners.
